CURRENT PATH

Do it in the account that bills you.

Interfaces and terms can change. Confirm every label, date, amount, and outcome in the current official account before acting.

  1. Open Spotify’s Manage your plan page and sign in.
  2. Choose Cancel subscription.
  3. Check the account page for the date Premium ends and keep the confirmation.

AFTER CANCELLATION

What Spotify says happens next

  • Premium normally continues until the next billing date, then the account changes to Spotify Free.
  • Playlists and saved music remain on the free account; listening continues with ads.
  • A zero-priced free trial is different: Spotify says cancellation changes the account to free immediately.

WATCH FOR THIS

Plan role and partner billing matter

  • A Family or Duo plan manager cancels the plan for every member. A plan member following the cancellation path only removes their own account and does not cancel the manager’s plan.
  • If there is no option to change the plan, Spotify says a partner such as a mobile or internet provider may control billing; check Payment on the account page.
  • Spotify points to changing Premium plans as an alternative, but its cancellation page does not state a universal retention offer or price. Inspect the exact account option before choosing it.

KEEP THE EVIDENCE

Turn the renewal date into an action plan.

Use the terms and dates shown in your own account. Both Abonvero tools run in your browser and do not submit a cancellation.
