CANCELLATION PLANNER / LOCAL-FIRST TOOL
Plan the exit.
Keep the evidence.
Turn the renewal date and notice period from your own official terms into a target action date, potential first-year savings, and a checklist you can download or print.
VERIFY BEFORE YOU ACT
A cancellation trail you can keep.
Provider screens and policies change. This checklist deliberately avoids invented menu paths and asks you to use the official documentation for the account and billing platform you actually have.
- Verify the billing entity on the latest receipt or statement.
- Open the provider's official billing or cancellation documentation.
- Compare the documented notice rule with the notice-days input.
- Cancel only through the provider or billing platform actually used.
- Keep a dated copy of the cancellation request, conversation notes, and confirmation.
- Watch later statements for another charge and use your issuer's official dispute process if needed.
IMPORTANT LIMITS
A plan,
not a cancellation.
This tool does not contact a provider, submit a request, interpret a contract, or guarantee savings. Cancellation steps, notice rules, fees, refunds, and effective dates can differ by provider, billing platform, location, plan, and current terms.
Cancelling a service and stopping its automatic payment are separate steps. Stopping a payment does not necessarily cancel the contract or erase an amount still owed. Verify the provider and payment instructions that apply to you.
Use the official documentation and retain the confirmation. The arithmetic and CSV are generated locally; no entered subscription name, cost, or date is sent to Abonvero.
PRIMARY-SOURCE GUIDANCE
Know what the plan can—and cannot—do.

- FTC consumer guidance on subscriptions and cancellation recordsKeep the request, confirmation, and later-charge evidence.
- CFPB guidance on stopping automatic paymentsThe payment authorization and underlying contract are separate.
- FTC Negative Option Rule docketRegulatory status changes; Abonvero does not present a proposed or vacated rule as current law.
SOURCE-CHECKED GUIDES
