CURRENT PATH

Do it in the account that bills you.

Interfaces and terms can change. Confirm every label, date, amount, and outcome in the current official account before acting.

  1. Check the subscription screen and the merchant shown on the relevant bank or card statement to identify who actually bills the subscription.
  2. Open that biller’s official subscription-management page—not just the service app.
  3. Use the biller’s current Cancel Subscription, Cancel subscription, or Turn off auto-renew control and follow its confirmation steps.
  4. Keep the confirmation and verify the stated access or expiration date.
  5. Inspect the next statement. If another charge appears, contact the billing entity shown on the charge with the saved evidence.

AFTER CANCELLATION

Why the billing platform changes the path

  • Apple’s current path is Settings, your name, Subscriptions, the subscription, then Cancel Subscription.
  • Google Play warns that uninstalling an app does not cancel its subscription; cancellation happens from Google Play subscriptions.
  • Roku uses Turn off auto-renew in Manage subscription and says access continues through the current billing cycle.

WATCH FOR THIS

Deleting the app is not cancellation

  • Google Play and HBO Max both explicitly state that deleting or uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
  • HBO Max says cancellation steps vary by who bills the subscription and provides a billing-provider check before the cancellation instructions.
  • Interfaces and terms can change. If the current official account screen conflicts with this dated guide, follow the official screen and contact the biller.

KEEP THE EVIDENCE

Turn the renewal date into an action plan.

Use the terms and dates shown in your own account. Both Abonvero tools run in your browser and do not submit a cancellation.
